here i am again
with words
and more

my record
of descent
in middle age
and its anxious decline

i have infomercials
appealing to the size
of my penis

there are news reports
that have forgotten
history altogether

events are staged
filmed
and presented to me as real

there are dim criminals
in business casual
suspected of the usual

youth
is wanton again
believing they invented sex

so here i ve arrived
again

composing
small evidence
of a private rebellion
against
an insipid world
i helped create
