Hold out your hand,
to the poor and the weak
give them the comfort
and solace they seek.
Give from the heart,
to the young and the old
give them a part
of your innermost gold.
Open your door,
to the lonely and ill

Upbeat, inspirational, truthful and brought a smile to me this evening.

It is true that being a giver is the greatest blessing imaginable. It just keeps coming back to you so many times over that I find it amazing.

We are all human and sometimes we are the strength lender and sometimes we are the one who needs another to lean on. I love the way you wrote about the inner person in this poem.

Thank you for a great reminder.
