As yesterdays storm clouds –
Have come and gone.
A morning sunrise warms the air,
Everything is so colorful;
So alive everywhere.
The plush green lawns,
And the blooming flower beds,
They smell all so beautiful,
With shades of lavish blue
And ravishing reds.

Now, as the last drops of water
Drip from the garden hose,
Another hot Summer day;
Finally comes to a close.

As the sun slips down,
It sketches little shadows
On the ground.
Sounds of crickets can be heard,
And the soft melodies of a song,
From the hiding bird's night song

The lazy moon says hello
To another sultry night,
He beams out silvery rays;
With his shimmering light.
The stars are like tiny diamonds,
Creating fantasy’s in the
In the midnight sky.
These are all what dreams
Are made up of,
That much I can’t deny.

The wonder and the magic of it –
That passion of the days,
And calm nights.
I love the fresh clean air,
And the glowing sky lights.
Oh, how thankful I am,
To be here, just here,
Oh, to be amidst......
This Summer splendor;
It’s like a warm hug
Like my first kiss
