when she needed it,
You never really done anything brave, but I wont ever forget,
All that you did to keep mom in great care,
You bathed her,and brushed her hair,
all the doctor visits that you took her too,
Mom really did wonders marrying you,
You never had time for yourself anymore,
You devoted it to her,it was never a chore,
When her legs got bad,you wheeled her everywhere,
There was'nt a moment you were never there,
This Hero I'm speaking of ,I know too well,
you did'nt do anything brave, but I'll never tell,
youre just my dad, whos very special to me,
For you gave moms life, laughter and beauty,
you made her last days, with less pain,
and helped her not to go insane,
you were her hero at the end,
She loved you for being her best friend,
So my hero does'nt have to fly,
He's my dad,what a special guy!

A true hero from what you say,
Obviously a priveledge to know such a person
let alone have him as a father.
Congratulations
