there are no more yesterdays
the remnents of tommorrows dream
fade into the haze

I cannot be your future
but I can be your memory
I hope that is enough for you
cause it will have to be

the specter of death sits with me
holds my hand tonight
I lay my head upon his knee
he sings a lullaby

does the other side call to you
like it calls to me
if we were to die tonight
would we then be free

he tells me to hush now
to lay my head and sleep
I can see me mothers tears
as I slip into the deep [comments] => 1 [counter] => 162 [topic] => 36 [informant] => doug [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )
