And bone and a dog
Ying and yang
Sunrise and sunset
Flowers and trees
Winter into spring
All of these things fit in.

Why is hard for some people to see
That not all things, are as they should be.
Some don’t conform, Is that so bad!
We’re younger, we’re older,
and have thoughts of our own,
Don’t put us in pigeonhole we just don’t belong.

So what’s so odd if teens are wise and oldies bang to the techno vibes?
If Goths are in black and others dress slack.
When some need wheels to get around others don’t smile and just frown.
Give it up and let it be,
Look inside yourself and just see

Are you the person YOU WANT TO BE?

Yeah I felt like that the whole time I was in high school.
There were always cliques which I just couldnt fit it and I so desperately wanted to.
You raise good thoughts in this poem.
I comend you for that.
Good job.

I thought this was very well written. Sometimes its difficult to "fit in" or be who others expect we should be, and more often than not its the people who dont fit in that are the ones that add a little colour and excitement to our lives. Please write more poetry :) J.I.H.
