They can't keep me away from you
There's a will, there's a way
We'll be together, come what may

It's just deprivation of what I need
So don't be surprised if I can't breathe
I'll slip out my window if I have to
Whatever I gotta do to be with you

We'll hide in the shadows
Coz they're just the thorns on my rose
You have the arms I crave
If I must die, please be my grave

I'm not going to ever say goodbye
And there are a thousand reasons why
I kinda love you and sorta need you
And for you there's not a thing I wouldn't do

Now I'll make a promise
I'll even seal it with a kiss
You'll never be loveless
I'm always here to show you bliss [comments] => 6 [counter] => 196 [topic] => 2 [informant] => MoonlitAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

I can remember just how hard it canm be when you are young and in love. Even more so how hard parents can make it for you when you want to be with that special guy and they are forbidding it all. Go with your heart do what you have to try and sit down and talk to them and say to them that if they are not prepared toa ccept the way things are then they will lose you. They should really try supporting you not the opposite... good luck and great poem.
peace love and happy poetry.

I loved this poem, but more importantly than that, I hope you find a way to be with the one you love

Great poem, Dee. I think you should do what you believe you have to in order to be with Greg. Even if that breaks some of your parents rules. Well, especially if that breaks some of your parents rules. But not the big ones. I don't want you to get in even more trouble. Cause, that would just plain suck. For me and you. Love ya always.

Dee, I'll be honest, your strong, you'll get through. You've always been my brick wall, the one I know will always stand.

Good poem, I love the way it rolls off my tongue. It's beautiful.
