freedom
Never has it been refused me
I am an American and it is my
birthright
to be free
my responsibility
though not free from hypocrisy
I have never seen
Liberty
It is not in my hands
as yet unattained
but my heart
says to me
ahhh. . . impossibility

I really like your poem. I especially like the feel for it. You probably got an A on this one!
