I am just now starting to heal and am merely trying help those who might be where I once was. [bodytext] => Tender lies never ease the pain,
When tears cleanse your face.
Pain so deep and consuming,
It rocks and shakes you deep inside.

It is so hard to stay together
When you just want to fall apart
Believe it will not last forever
Strength comes when we don’t hide.

Neglect and hate cut so sharply
And are so easy to return
Instead find solace in love and laughter
And rise above the hurt and vice.

Life truly is a treasure,
Though pain steals that truth away
Know the treasure is worth having
Please do not surrender yet. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 220 [topic] => 21 [informant] => MLCstar [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 19 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Nicely done... again! This is very well presented... laced with just the right amounts of empathy and understanding. I find solace in this and I wasn't even feeling particularly blue before I read it.

Beautifully worded-

very truthful...looking back its so much easier to realize it was foolish to want to end your life.. but at the time each breath feels like another knife being thrust into your heart.. very nicely written.. and im glad youve realized this.. sometimes i agree and other times im just so down that i cant find truth in anything.. great work.. When I read this title I thought it was going to be one of those pathetic cliche poems by winy babies. but i was wrong. You pleasently suprised me.
