A Silent Cry of Love
Your loving words touch my soul
Even though you speak not of me
I long to be that love
I couldn't help reading your poetry
I wanted to see how you were doin
Do you check in on me?
Or are my feelings unheeded
I'm sad to see you are leaving me
Though I left long ago
To see you depart will
Tear my whole heart apart
But if you must
Love will always be waiting
And anticipating your return.
