that's underneath your skin.
It's just bleeding out
all the pain within.

It's not so bad. Honest.
It's not a big deal. Honest.
But we can't get me
to stop. Honest.

It's just the way I've found to survive another day.
It's just the expression I use
to say the words I don't know how to say.

Can you forgive me please?
Cause you see: it's not really all that bad.
Honest.

It's just the answer to my questions
that slow my swirling thoughts.
It's just the way I get the voices quiet,
but it seems I'm caught.

It's not a big deal. Honest.
It's not so bad. Honest.
It's all just rationalization. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 160 [topic] => 13 [informant] => waos [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Coming from someone eho USED to cut, this poem is very touching, and deeper than it seems. I like and even better understand it.

Excellent indeed. I've been carving since I was nine years old and have read many peices that try to enlighten others on the emotional conflate, and none have, save you. It touched me in a very personal way, and you have great courage to write about something so close to home. Excellent indeed.

Blessed Be,
Tink
