The star we wished upon must have been falling.
It's a tragedy our hearts must live as one again.
That star has crashed and with it took our dreams away.

Darling, it's a shame our worlds are separating.
Dreams we shared will be spoken in past tence.
It's a pity we have to detach our souls again.
Memories become tears, that our hearts just can not hold.

We tried to bridge the distance between our lives.
Our love avoided the obstacles but, for only so long.
Now i guess the foundations have lost their strength.
And it wasn't just the bridge but us that fell away.

Now we're two dormant hearts, smoldering in one cruel world.
We played the game, but, maybe our cards were marked.
Oh God, we tried so hard, only to break down and give in.
Now we're two wilted roses, surviving in one dying world.
