Sometimes it’s hard to breathe
When the anxiety wells within me
When I feel like you’ve closed the door
On all I seem to live for

All I need is a mere word
To show that my fears have been heard
And you’ve not mistook the meaning
Of the confused emotions I am feeling

It can be like a cloud lifted away
If they’re tender, the words that you say
And that smile you can suddenly show me
That reaches inside me and sets my soul free

I can relate, well said, well written. That's my situation. I hope things will get better for all of us, so we can write some happy poetry again. I miss that...
