"COMFORT ONE ANOTHER"

In this cruel world of little comfort.
Please comfort one another.
Do you say "Hello," to your neighbor?
"How are you today? Nice weather."

Do you take the time to care?
Huge watermelon, could you share?
Comforting means to bring pleasure
How very refreshing, a "Day Brightner!"

Comforting ways that Jesus taught.
Blind, deaf, crippled, healed with no forethought.
We could help a crippled or blind person shop.
Simple little chores that mean a lot!

When we know someone is hurting....
Do you hurt too? Empathy to help their healing?
By phone, send a beautiful card, or stop by asking?
Comfort with ease, build up their well-being.

When another cares, their hurt is cut in half.
Comfort them with prayer in their behalf.
Prayer is very powerful when they know.
A special prayer for them, comforts hearts so hollow.

Comfort, like love must be put into action.
A hug around the neck, cheerful word spoken.
Reassurance they are not alone ever.
You will help them, be their burden bearer.

Poor health for an older person shut-in.
Visiting them, bring joy, help lift their chagrin.
We are His Messengers, how blessed are we.
His Loving Kindness he lets us bring happily

Kind feet of those that bring comfort never weep.
Bringing comfort, comfort in their hearts will keep
Those that choose to comfort others,
Create beautiful harmonious comfort like a rainbow.

Help this cruel world of little comfort,
With your heart's melodious comforting concert.
Bring your comforting music to someone low.
One person's comfort can eliminate sorrow and woe.

If each and everyone of us would comfort.....
Loved ones, friends, neighbors, comfort exert.
Each would feel His Comfort and Loving Kindness.
This cruel old world, would no longer feel Godless!

This world would be a cruel and lonely place at times without the care and comfort of our fellow human beings. We should be here for comfort in times of need for our friends. God bless you, Connie. You have been my comfort as of late.

Hugs,
Rita

So many of lifes important rules that are often ignored or forgotten
and yet are the simplest to follow.
Thanks for the reminder.
