I love you Dan [bodytext] => The poet ponders what he'd most like to forget
Breathing long enough to glimpse another sunrise
Break through this symphony of clouds blanket
This facade of space and time, he cannot previse

Lumbered fast and long down a wrong way street
Implored life one request, sadly a wish neglected
The portrait of her beckons, exemplifies his defeat
Whispered sayings, until now forgotten , again injected

A fallen man, who's warmth was numbly impaled
Ceded to devils with cold hearts and angel wings
One last dance , a shred of sympathy had prevailed
She's the way, the reason , so to her memory he clings

Mercurial creature, obsess over words spoken
If only he could control constant incoherance
A vitreous covenant was so thoughtlessly broken
But ordeal he can conquer, a threshold of perseverance

A luminescent architect rebuilds to revere
Jungled fervor commands these birds of prey
When this Lionheart came upon his Guinevere
The child within the beast came out to play

" Lustrous maiden, you are my angel divine
For you, my friend , I shall unabashedly pine
Could you give yourself to a heart like mine ?
For behind these eyes lies the truest sincerity
Walk with me to bask in love's prosperity
I was severed in two, but you complete me "

Perfect in time to an imagined curtain call
The weeping winds drift on by and appear
Torn my poise and passion, divided she falls
Allows her porcelain face to be painted with tears

All that false stability, never try to cry
Pours out now by the tears long overdue
Only for her would his eyes not dare defy
A fire's rekindled, and thus wept the statue

Two souls searched for that one of a kind
Two bodies now exist in coalescence
Hope and harmony breathlessly entwined
Birth a myriad of desires eminently intense

Bonded eternally , love's labourer's supreme
Loyalty infinite symbolized with this ring
After years of chasing that empyrean dream
It shall now be theirs amaranthine

Indeed, it must have taken hours of thought, energy, and mad scribbling to compose a poem around another poet's titles. Even harder to meet the standard of capturing the essence of VS's titles. And yet, I believe you've done it. I'm fairly certain it taxed your ambition level for a bit, but it's incredible what you've done with your ideas. There's wonderful artistry here - taking ideas, developing your own from them without butchering anything, and still adding one's own creativity - and it shows well.

Keep writing,
-Eve.

When a pen touches paper, it is the pen that creates the gift and the paper that recieves it, when your mind touched dans thoughts and dans thoughts touched your mind, it was you both who created the gift and all of us that recieved it, but you both got something stronger than any of us could fathom against, a connection, through mind, not has one man, women or beast ever been able to break the connection of mind between two that are so strong.

A beautiful piece that must have taken hour and hour, you showed he true poet living within yourself in this piece and its shines through like the sun

Luke
