welled up just inside.
i lie the crimson blade aside,
the silver shine of youth.
you turn away,
afraid of what might become.
your hair so soft,
your eyes so pure.
crackhead boy ,
has come and gone.
he washed in my wetness,
he drowned in my tears.
will you too,
return in the end?
to watch me on my knees,
suffering for my sins?
my dear dragonfly girl,
you've left me too.
i whisper to you,
alone in the dark.
the mind that used to be
oh so very near.
now you're just a dream,
an image in the sun.
filter down through
the clouds,
and dance with me

gaze in my world,
as if lost in a dream.
a glance into my eyes,
will show all the pain
and torment,
welled up just inside.
i lie the crimson blade aside,

you turn away,
