Shadows lengthen and merge into darkness The path grows dark under the trees Rustling grows louder with a beating heart All sleep but the one on the journey
Breath blends into mist in sharp coolness Trudging through the mud, feet cry for rest Eyes glare through the shadowy forest Waiting to attack the weary traveler
Will the sun rise again Or will the journey forever be drenched in night? Each step further and closer to home Every bleeding wound swells with ambition
No rest until the journeys end Far from home and warmth Another bend in the path may bring day And a peaceful rest at the journeys end

Your work is so beautiful. Let us hope the next bend bring the needed sight and journey's relief.
