Being One With The Clouds

living in the sky
would be such fun
I'd bathe in the rainclouds
and dry in the sun
I'd play with the birds,
especially the doves
and write lots of words
of peace and of love
I'd slide down the rainbows
and climb up everything
and wherever the wind would go
I'd ride on its wings
like a homing bird, why,
I'd fly so free
home and dry
by my cloud mist sea
when darkness would fall,
the night fully come,
I'd build a stardust wall
as a shield from the sun
I'd sleep on the moon
under a blanket of stars
the nightengales would croon
sweet lullabies through the hours
and when I'd wake
every spectacular morn
I'd be grateful to intake
a new day born
I'd be soaring so high
I'd be very proud
to live in the sky,
to be one with the clouds
