I asked the Lord for guidance
And to give me another chance
I asked the Lord for forgiveness
And everlasting happiness
I know He can hear me
He can even see me
I am down on my knees
Waiting for His kiss.
I closed my eyes
Lord says that is wise
I put my hands together
Lord says thats better.
In silence I prayed
I felt that my body swayed
And then I realized
That the Lord is by my side.
Suddenly I was crying
And I was sighing
A warm feeling enveloped my being
Then I heard angels singing
Thank you, Lord for giving me another chance
And for forgiving me at once
Your unconditional love
Is way over and above.
