Array ( [sid] => 48799 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Letter to His Love [time] => 2004-05-23 14:08:40 [hometext] => This poem is about a guy who's writen a suicide letter to his love, saying how sorry he is..its was an idea from a friend of mine who wanted to see if I could get inside a guys head n see whats really going on and how he feels......comments pls...how'd I do [bodytext] => Letter To His Love

I couldn't handle midnight monsters they ate me up,
Each time I made a new cut suddenly I felt dead,
Aching wounds bruised my heart allowing it to bleed,
Causing me no sleep, voices in my head, bad dreams
The sparkle you once saw in my blue eyes had faded away.

Pouring rain today right now calms my jittering chills,
Fills me up to the rim stupid quilt, lost hope, dying faith
I'm choking back my tears while writing this to you wiping away the blood gushing from my wrists
I hate all that I've put you through it wasn't fair.

Scars on my arms millions sore,
Dry blood crusted over
Cigarette burns delicate my shoulders,
Chest and hands
I'm now a ugly monster trapped in a cage a freak,
I've lost all balance to stand on my own to feet,
Starting to get weak I cant write anymore,
Not scared to die.

I've locked out so many people I hope
they'll forgive me
Those sad tears you shed baby please don't cry
you're ok
I'll wrap my wings around you, together we can fly away.

I absolutely loved how you took somebodies pain and portrayed it in your own view. It seems so real, and so very painful. But I especially like the last stanza. Last line was great.
