And He controls us all
Let people die, let people kill each other
So He is not good
But evil
A evil that must be destroyed
That must fade away in oblivion
For look what He done to me
What He let people do to me
And the people say He is good
That no one is better than He
If He controls us all
Then why does He let me live this life
And why wont I die
Or He does not control us all
And I may choose my own faith
And now I do not need to listen to the blathering of others
It went so fast, in a matter of seconds
So close, so scared, so beautiful, so fragile
But I didn’t feel a thing
But how do I know it was me
I do not
The bright hallway is fading
I’ am falling
So it is true
He has spoken
The Judge

I can not change your opinion but I can share truth.

"You are the light of the world a city set on a hill can not be hid"
"In the days of Jesus' youth ... he learned by what he suffered"
"Anyone who claims to be a christian must walk as Jesus did"
"Let your light so shine before men and women that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven"

"Over everything in life he gave
dominion to the race of man
to bring life or to cause suffering
God gave unto the race of man
and still we look up to the skies
signs will not come from them now
but it is here upon the earth
that God meant wisdom to be found.
Suffering and hurt that grieves
this all comes from the gift he gave
because he wants us to be free
he makes us not to be as slaves
It is the choice of evil men
controled by something o're than God
that makes this world a cursed place
and fills it with great hurts and horrors"

I sort of agree with your poem. Right now I am stuck in the middle. While I am not an atheist, I am also not sure that I believe in God. I mean, why does he let others have it so good and others live their lives in hard, difficult ways? My life is not an easy one, however, I believe if there is a God, he made it easier on me than some other people. I am lucky enough to live in America and be free, however I face difficult home situations while others lead a perfect life. Why does he do that? However, when I do get scared or I desperately need help, I pray to him. He, however, seems to do the opposite of what I ask. I really liked your poem, it spoke my mind. Thanks for posting it. This was very touching and well written, great meaning.
Katie
