And standing there alone...
Like remembering the times you've shared
And knowing that you've grown...
Like smiling at someone
And they just turn their head away...
Like liking someone who doesn't like you
Or at least not in the same way...
Like being with somone you love
And them saying it's not pure...
Like looking into someones eyes
And seeing the end is near...
Like ending a poem of love
As tears begin to fill your eyes...
Or like saying your goodbyes...
As your heart breaks down and dies... [comments] => 4 [counter] => 161 [topic] => 61 [informant] => lifefliesby [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

Never fret, there's always tomorrow. The speaker has done a great job of conveying a sad message, and it is my hope that he gets out of that rut. You're absolutely right, keep going. Thanks for the great write.

Oh, don't you get all sad... *BIG hugs*
It'll be okay...
Whoever said highschool is the best years of life lied. They have no idea what they're talking about. You'll pull through this, move on, go to college, make a life that you're comfortable and happy with just like I will. Then we'll meet up at a cafe (maybe the one I'm going to own) and talk about how wonderful life is "now" over a cup of coffee. And when we're finished, I'll send the grounds in a doggie bag to daddio so he can eat them with a spoon because Lord knows my coffee isn't strong enough for him. ;- )
I love ya, man
