Array ( [sid] => 47364 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Unseen Future [time] => 2004-05-13 15:56:30 [hometext] => This poem is about my horse, Julio and how he helped me get through life. [bodytext] => The STARS shine down upon us,
a red-roan horse, his pale-blonde rider.
Running from the past,
with a stride so long and free.

The LIGHT glitters in his eyes,
brown and full of anger.
My eyes reflect the moon,
blue and full of fear.

Together we GALLOP through the night,
so cold and full of pain.
We have so much to live for,
our lives have much to gain.

His newly shod HOOVES poun softly,
on the grass so lush and green.
We canter on together,
towards a future that is yet unseen.

Life is a VICIOUS cycle,
but it is he who carried me through.
Putting the past behind me,
I pray the future holds true.

As his QUIVERING nostrils flare,
the sun begins to rise.
Tomorrow becomes today,
right beneath my eyes.

The ANGER in his face,
slowly begins to fade away,
but the fear within myself,
is forever here to stay.

The FORBBIDEN future comes,
with nothing we can do.
Together we keep on going,
and never look behind. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 175 [topic] => 21 [informant] => Juliozgirl [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 2 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

vivid scenes you have painted here horses can become just as close to us as our dogs do. Animals are what makes everything better in our life. I hope that things work out better for you.
Welcome to YPDC!!
