[hometext] => A poem for the elderly thousands who die alone, often without anyone finding them for months...
[bodytext] => Unread letters
Lay on the floor Four months passed Since they fell through the door. Kitchen food, Decrepid as her The cat still roams hungry, In a flat coated with fur. Her son should have realised Her own letter was late, But he was too busy thinking Of his latest date. They'll find her in two weeks, Twisted and bruised, Lifelessly lying, Last emotion? Confused. Don't think she fell, Died, then that was it, She lay there alone Through a whole day of fits. Then she slipped silently, Painfully away, With a fast dying hope, That he'd visit today.
