Staring at the esoteric, turquoise sky,
Watching silently, as clouds go by,
Greeting the dawn of the yellow moon,
Hoping darkness would befall soon.

Second by second, my shadow is declines,
Laughing heartily, at the thinning sunshine,
For nightfall is what I mostly adore,
Where it is pleasant as the evening seashore.

And at last my pleasure is fulfilled,
As I hear the sun’s last shrill.
Daylight has gone, and the night has come,
The night & me are now one.

Late evening is always a wonderful time to be looking for the setting sun and the first stars to shine. A new moon enhances the scene. Thank you for a good read.
