You close your eyes and get lost to it completely
The song so sad, one mind, one soul
Never again complete, never to be whole

You hear a persons heart pour out as if bleeding
The pain so soft yet you grasp their entire feelings
The striking of a chord, tears at your insides
Its as if one final, hard, gripping of goodbye

You open your eyes to see the dust settled on the piano
It was a lost memory, a ghost if you will of someones sorrow
Of what once was, and may yet again be

This one really did bring back a lot of memories. I used to have a friend that played the piano exceptionally well and is working towards being a pro player. In fact the first poem I posted on this site was about her piano playing skills. Lovely poem flowing with emotion. Great job.

this was an excellent example that all should strive to write as well.
