Oh death, thy sting is hard! My body was
jarred, and there was pain.
Then suddenly, I was shooting past
the stars.
A mist was clearing before me.
My body and soul felt free.
No more fear, heartbreak or pain.

There laid before me a wooden gate,
and somehow, I felt late to enter there.
A grassy path led up over a bright knoll.
Oh, the love that I felt there!
Isn't any way to describe it.
There is no other love that can be.
No not for me.

I'm sailing down to where I existed before.
I'm left with visions, vibrations and
ocean sounds in my mind.
A Golden Bust on a white background
is forever lingering, at the corner of my eye!
Don't know what it means, but, it seems
that it is guiding me here.
Is real death near?

Heavenly love is forever implanted,
in my heart, in my soul.

***struggles to find breath let alone words*** wow that was simply amazing beyond words, it felt like a breath taking journey into something so beautiful and yes, very inspirational. This is both a fantastic poem filled with mind blowing imagery, and an incredible interpretation of life after death (unless i read it wrong) Just, wow
Hope to read more poems from you at this caliber. (no pressure then lol)

Yes I know the feeling the whole of my life flew past as in a film then that uplifting into the higher realms. the bitter disapointment on having to return to my battered body. I am afraid i was not too polite to the Doctors that saved me.
