Array ( [sid] => 46322 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Through His Eyes [time] => 2004-05-05 18:14:47 [hometext] => Having glaucoma I lost my eye sight for a short while, it was during this time that I realized what we see with our physical eyes was not as important as what we see Through His eyes. [bodytext] => I stand in the darkness unable to see.
Putting my trust in Thee.
Through Your eyes Lord...
I see the love You freely give.
Through Your eyes Lord...
I see more in darkness
Than I would ever see with sight.
Oh how the night, has blessed my soul,
Knowing You will never let go.
Through Your eyes...
I see the hope of a brighter tomorrow,
A lighter load with less sorrow.
Blindness is losing sight of You Lord.
For the Spirit sees what the eyes do not.
The windows of my heart,
Hold You Lord, there never to part.
For there Your word is hidden,
For when I lose my way.
You Lord, have walked the path ahead.
To put the light to see.
I thank you Lord for this gift to me.
Through Your eyes...
The price as already been paid.
Through Your eyes...
I see. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 196 [topic] => 19 [informant] => HOPE4ME2 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )

IN TODAY'S WORLD, WE ALWAYS TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED. THIS WAS A GREAT WRITE ON INSIGHT TO KNOWING WHAT IT IS LIKE TO HAVE NO SIGHT. KNOWING THAT WE CAN PUT OUR PROBLEMS ON HIM AND HE WILL TAKE CARE OF THEM, BY YOUR SHARING HERE, LETS US KNOW THAT THERE REALLY IS HOPE.

Wow. You are honered. To be blind to this world, to see through His eyes. I really, truely loved this poem. Well done indeed.
Take care.
David
