Who came to eat my skittles, skittles, skittles
Crawling closer and closer
But I will not give up
This army attacking my paid for skittles
I have to stop

Truly rainbow colors
Sweet or sour taste
I cut out the beautiful ads
On the computer I copy and paste
How dull would life be
Without this bite-size candy
When you want something delicious
They come in handy

I'm at a war with beetles, beetles, beetles
Who came to eat my skittles, skittles, skittles
Crawling closer and closer
But I will not give up
This army attacking my paid for skittles
I have to stop

Now what would you do
If someone tried to take away what you like
And if there's more of the little thieves
Would you wait awhile and then strike?
Well that's what I did
And now I deservingly rest
My sleep isn't anymore troubled
I took care of my problems with pest

I'm at a war with beetles, beetles, beetles
Who came to eat my skittles, skittles, skittles
Crawling closer and closer
But I will not give up
This army attacking my paid for skittles
I have to stop

It is a woman's right to protect her self and her candy. Personally, I would have stomped every one of the little pests! Good for you.

I like it! nice imagry of the battle for the skittles. I never knew that the beetles,(cockroaches?) were so enamored of the candy connection. I always enjoy your rhymes as they usually are a fresh descriptive examination of the nuances of daily life and its living. Good stuff! I'll talk to you on the round-a-bout. R&R
