[title] => A Sentinel & Mentor.
[time] => 2004-05-02 08:40:28
[hometext] => To my mother who stood by me when I nearly cut myself to death.
[bodytext] => A sentinel & mentor. Her wings gave me shelter from the rain, Cosseted me whenever I was in pain, Sacrificed the bulk of her precious time, And made me the man I am. Stopped me from cutting myself, Hid all caustic objects in her concealed shelf, Just to keep me from torturing my soul, And was always there to console. I sit by her as she cooks our meals, Witch in fact, held very high appeal, Smiling, with sweat in her face, Something I’d always embrace. We’d sit together and dine, Our table replete with food & wine, Relishing the time we spent together, And hoping, it would last forever. -Thivanka [comments] => 1 [counter] => 183 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Thivanka [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
