crescent moonlight casts shimmering light
upon castle walls
falling teardrops make no sound at all

drowning in a liquid abyss
lost in a familiar melody
chasing spiraling rainbow galaxies
imagination is now awakened soaring

faeries full of sorrow
gossamer wings have been torn
sing of dark enchantments
so wishes could follow

golden red leaves gently fall from birch trees
they dance a ballet
leaves blanket a knight and his fair maiden
in a loving embrace
while Lady Nightingale serenades them
with her song

under cascading waterfalls
where nightshades bloom
raven black unicorns with crystal horns
chase glowing fireflies beneath the
midnight sky

moon dragons soar from towering mountain tops
fleeing from wicked sorcerers trying to captuer their magical spells
magical spells
moon dragons would never sell

snowy white owl is the guardian of night
he watches the Faery Witch use her black opals
he warns all to keep away with this screeching call

purple mushrooms greet me with an inviting smile

floating now in crystal blue streams
floating on and on for endless miles

oh i do believe these midnight visions
will visit me once more

so slowly shadowy lemondrops of sunlight
ascends across the horizon

and the goldfinch cries
"awake awake"

i fell out of a dream.

"raven black unicorns with crystal horns"

This kind of imagery is what I like to see. Although not in my preferred structure or type, I believe this poem is still good nontheless.

Excellently vivid.
Well done.
