Array ( [sid] => 45060 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Skin And Bones [time] => 2004-04-27 10:33:16 [hometext] => This was written back in my bulimic laxative junkie faze, but now I'm happy with my 130 pounds. True beauty comes from within. [bodytext] => The strength I've acquired comes from deep within
I know that I'll be happy once I am very thin
Disappear into yourself, let your body melt
The pain I feel now is nothing compared to pain I've felt
The pounds are like demons torturing my soul
I have to shed them all, or I'll have to pay the toll
I am grotesque, looking in the mirror all I want to do is cry
I'm a fat girl, sometimes all I want to do is die
I have to do it now before it gets too late
I have to work so hard to reach the perfect weight
I won't be fully satisfied, I won't become a hero
Until my work has finally paid off
And the scale points to zero.

I know how you feel.. I've struggled with the self-esteem and purging and vomiting for over 3 years now... It's taken me a long time to realize it's not that I'm "fat", it's that it's so much easier to worry about my weight and what I wear than deal with the inner problems sometimes.. I hope you're doing better.

What a refreshing view on an age old problem. Obesity or overweight. Keep in there my dear you can do it, I am sure of that,
By the way I have lost 19 kilo's just by leaving sugar and sweets away. I still sometimes have a piece of chocolate though it helps when I get a depresive phase.
