The eagle spreads
his wings and
takes flight,
he lets the winds
carry him away.

He flies over
snow covered mountains,
weaves between trees,
he dives toward
the water to grab
his meal,
he sticks his sharp talons
into his catch.

His strong wings
carry him up
into the skies above.

He stops to eat
his meal,
then he's off again.

He's gone with the wind.

The picture is absolutely breaktaking. The poem is so free and floating like he does in the wind currents. I love to watch them fly. They are magnificent and powerful. When we go to Colorado we get to see them fly. It always makes me cry.
