The torture of regret

We live in a fiction of tomorrow
And you sink as you try to forget

Time will hold our intuitions
As we struggle to hold ourselves

Your drowning in your inhibitions
And I dream of no one else

Darkness covers our whispers
The clocks are breaking still

I guess clouds will shroud my life forever
At least you never will

The light that passes through us
The grass it tickles our feet

We run through tomorrow forever
The urgency of love's defeat

Submission beyond our motives
Letting go to what we feel

The sun will set as always
Close our eyes to what is real

Window panes surrounding
Crystal tides let be

The rain upon my eye lash
As I search for the forever-running-me

I know not what I search for
And I still have not found you

Perhaps as time grows upon us
Our pathes will cross as they always do

Smiles fade to heaven
The shadows disappear

I'm letting go of all your hatred
And things that fall apart, let go of all my fear

One day belief will strike you
As the urgency of now descends

Your smile will forever haunt me
As the cycle of my passion never ends...
