my eyes filled with tears, I knew she was weak
Voices from heaven whispered her name
she left this world with her spirit to remain
High over mountains a place she will be
deep in thought I wonder can angels see
Remembering her beauty and gorgeous skin
she carried elegance and class within
She took me to parks, and hugged away my tears
all the love she gave me, and showed me
no fears
Time we shared together is planted in my mind
she gave me timeless treasures in which she left behind
A spirit now, soaring gentley with grace
became an angel with a beautiful face
My heart holds on I know it to be true
will not be far Grandma, I'm still with you [comments] => 5 [counter] => 309 [topic] => 52 [informant] => shanarah [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => goodbyepoetry )

Very touching lump-in-throat material. This is, in my humble opinion, a great tribute to your Grandmother.
Greetz,

This is a very captivating write. Such an enchanting poem, about someone you love very much. I'm sure she's smiling even as I write this...

Truly,
-V.S.
