Have you seen the Passion Of The Christ Our sinful lives have been priced Jesus knew he was going to die Sometimes, I still don't understand why They took him to see the high priest They all thought it was a big feast They condemned Jesus to death They didn't even let him catch his breath They nailed his hands and feet to the cross God should show them that he is the boss The full picture of his crucifixion Gave me a great recognition God's love for us had to be so great How come when he calls us, we say wait He gives us all a great big chance Plus he gives us knowledge way in advance

| It shouldnt matter if one agrees with the message or not, although i do completely. One should judge a poem on skill. This evokes so much emotion in me and is so beautifully written. Its great to have someone as awesome as Christ who was willing to give himself for our salvation. Keep up the good work. If religious poems interest you, check out mine. I even have one about the crucifiction, titled "Your Sacrifice" |
