I cradle the moon in my palm
The stars sing me to sleep
But I find no peace in this qualm

I wonder
And I wait for you
Imagine
A life with some truth

I thought I found love
But there's no room in all this hate
Listen to the rain
I ache and hope it's not too late

Where are you?
(Right in front of me)
Are you there?
(You're all that I see)

Am I destined to be this alone?
Will I find my way home?
The streets are dark, let me hold your hand
Though I don't understand
The nights are long and so confusing
You are my undoing
I don't know what's a lie and what's true
But I'm tired and I'm through

Let me know you can
If you can be the one for me
Put my heart at ease
'Cause it's not coming easily
Maybe I'm too lost
Am I supposed to be here now?
Or is this all wrong?
I can't love you, I don't know how

I'm screaming
Everything's broken
I'm bleeding
Black heart's awoken
I'm dying
Why don't you hear me?
I'm fading
Not feeling a thing

I thought you'd be here
I thought you'd be healing my wounds
I thought I knew you
But you're with me in solitude [comments] => 4 [counter] => 193 [topic] => 14 [informant] => MoonlitAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 23 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DreamsandWishes )
