Above the clouds, upon a breeze
The sunlight beams, from the skies
The water pours, our forest cries

Each gentle drop, the sunlight's grace
A watered light, a light-quid embrace
These tears persist, but not from pain
Metamorphic bliss, from acts mundane

A cocoon of light, of water walls
Natural prism, rainbows call
Awash of light, spectrum bliss
Orange to green, their whispered kiss

Through the trees, amongst the leaves
Above the clouds, upon the breeze
The sunlight beams, from the skies
The waters pour and rainbows arise

This miracle, of natures ways
From rainy spots in sunny days
A picture painted through the skies
A rainbows why our forest cries [comments] => 11 [counter] => 238 [topic] => 27 [informant] => forever_lonely [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 30 [ratings] => 6 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )

This is beautiful Luke. A painting of elegance, with astounding words as the palette, your talent the brush. I shall not waste time with my mere accolades, but instead I will use that time to read this masterpiece again.

Truly,
-Dan

Those two lines deserved to be marked by my 500th comment on this site. I'd been scouring the homepage for quite a while for one that deserved it.

You have achieved a flow which is harmonic and effulgent all at once, in trademark inspirosynthesis, using vivacity to its pinnacle of colours and rhyme. I'd go on and on, but I'll stop now, as I must get back to work . . .

Breathtaking.

Rainbows are so beautiful and so illusive. You can't catch one and stare at it in the palm of your hand but you can stand and watch it and be left in awe of its natural beauty.

The imagery in this poem was extremely good.
