The sewer `s where she has to go, to hunt for all her food
There's no one left to hold her up
Her daddy let her go
She's lost what was so dear to her, despite all of his flaws.
She knows this aint her daddy by the glare upon his face
It breaks her heart to see him so ...

uncaring
unremorseful
and so low

She never thought it'd happen, `til the day her fears came true
She lost what so dear her, the daddy that she knew

Her daddy was her sunshine, her only caring soul
The person she could turn to when the devil took his toll
But what to do when he got him too, your only pride and joy
The tears dont seem to satifsy and the sobs are not no ploy

there's no one left turn too
No one seems to care
And like it'd matter anyway because her daddy still isnt there! I for one want to say "I am very very proud of you". Not many young people your age have that kind of inner strength and stamina. You are a strong loving person and will make a good life for yourself. I just want to say to you that I am always here if you want to talk or just need a friend.

Love n rainbows,
Rita

At times we feel so very alone, we ask for a friend, and a warm feeling of home. Tears you bring with sweet gentle words, know now and always they are constantly heard. May your wishes come true, and your dreams be sweet, and everyone in your life return to you, the sweet gentle smile that is upon your face. Thank you for sharing.

Wow girl, this is so sad.
It's one thing to loose a father by death but it's another the way u discribe things.
this is an awesome write!
Kepp the faith and put him tottaly in God's hands and let God fix his problem.
I will continue to pray for u.
Luv, huggs,
emy

Wonderful tale of despair. Kids are so helpless against Adults whether parents or family or strangers. Kids they all need our love and protection.

Awesome poem... That's something I can really relate to. The pain never goes away. Keep your chin up! It WILL get better. Eventually you'll realize that, no matter what, you have to go forward from here. Good luck and God Bless!
