In Her magnificent gown
Encrusted with sapphires in velvet
Her sparkling silver crown

I took Her hand in offer of dance
Thus began to form a Gothic Romance
Her anaemic hand She placed in mine
Our scar dowsed bodies began to entwine

She placed a single red rose in my mouth
Thorns stuck in She snatched it out
A bead of blood dripped to my chest
She licked it off and left the rest
Her icy kiss paused on my neck
Satisfying Her hunger She bit deep

Seducting me further into Her trance
In the pale moonlight I watched Her dance
She had the power to capture thee
My heart was but a part of Her plea
For thou art not what thy plead
But guilty of stealing my innocence

Enchanted by this mystery
Of a Gothic Princess who disappeared
She cut into my heart with Her charm
Yet She brings me to no harm
Disturbing desire to revive my Love. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 199 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Queen_Dolly [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
