Unuttered

Love fades.
I dream of retracting All those empty words To replace with truth And the final admittance.
But you go And you're gone Without a hint of regret Or sadness.
How little we loved Or too much...? When into the night it flies And leaves my sorry flesh unwrapped, My weeping heart unkept.
And all that's left Are tired thoughts Unuttered.

Ah that was beautiful although very sad and excellent choice of words esp here:
How little we loved
Or too much...?
When into the night it flies
And leaves my sorry flesh unwrapped,
My weeping heart unkept.
Once again, excellent write. |
