Promise you'll still love me
when I'm old and gray
Promise you'll still love me
when my good looks melt away
Promise that you'll love me when
I begin to wrinkle and to shrink
and that you'll still love me
when our house has that mothball stink
When my hair begins to thin
and arthritis begins to set in
Promise me that on bad days
when my memory starts to decay
Promise that you'll love me
Promise me when I get weak and I take a final breath
You'll be there to love me
If you can promise this
Then I'll know it's true
You love me, as I do you
