that keeps you awake
listening
with your eyes
to eerie sounds

chill you to the bone,
i am the ghost

creeping
across creaky wooden floors

hear the footsteps echo...

as i slowly pull your covers

what could be happening
as you hear a voice
softly whispering

I am the ghost
that is haunting

but you can't see me,
you're never alone
i am always
creeping whispering
wanting.....
