Array ( [sid] => 41026 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => I forgive you [time] => 2004-03-30 17:50:02 [hometext] => This poem actually came to me in a dream as corny as it may sound. I wasnt quite sure how to end it but i must say im rather pleased with the outcome. [bodytext] => I think it's time for me to tell you
what i truly feel inside.
That i have finaly forgiven you,
that there is no reason to hide.

I wish i could have told you sooner
but my lesson had not been learnt.
I finaly understand why you did it.
Why you left mother and i in so much hurt.

She cried all night you know
And worked hard all day.
She took to the bottle
to drink all her pain away

At first i hated you,
i was so damn mad!
But then i started to wonder,
What made you leave all you've ever had?

It's been 13 years now
and i finaly understand.
The reason you left me and mommy
I can now relate to firsthand

They say it's hereditary,
that you probably had it too.
I'm dying of cancer father,
and there is nothing you can do. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 217 [topic] => 39 [informant] => whocares [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )
