The Shadow lengthens
The clock ticks down
The Reaper is coming
The lives to be taken
Hide in the light
But the Shadow seeks
The lives to be taken

The Reaper takes
The Reaper gives
Death's meaning to thee
The ticking of the clock
Increases into tocks
One more moment
To live
And you will be taken

My soul has been taken
My life slowly fading
It is your turn
To be a victim
It is your turn
To be haunted
It is my turn
To be the victor
It is my turn
To be the haunter
And you will repay
With your life

The Shadow sought
You out of cowardice
The light vanished
In a second
And Darkness reigns
The Shadow's victims

I really liked this one. I...I felt it somehow "hit home" with me. I understood it, in the fact that I'd felt many things like that before. I'd said things like that before in my life, always to myself. I REALLY loved this one, very nicely done, in my opinion.
...wish more people wrote about this stuff....::looks around nervously:: What??

There are not many people here who can compete with you..I read so much crap here day in day out..No matter what mood I am in..I can read yours..And feel so alize afterwards..Not many here can touch a write like you can..This one is of no exception at all..I do not write for fun or for others..Bad comments I could care less about really..I dont care about most humans..But you dear Jennifer are where the exception to that rule is..
