In cirrus clad to bring creation
Silhouettes in delineation
Born not of man, lunar artisan
Showers the land in sublimation

Spectrum as palette, an artist true
Sketches out a celestial view
Divine highlights, 'neath aura ignite
Diffraction paints a prismatic hue

'Cross barren plains, vivification
Through black and white, variegation
Bring life this field, which darkness concealed
Revive lost souls in transmigration

'Twixt welkin's vault and sapphire sky
Past lumined clouds pierces watchful eye
Rich iris bold, holds wisdom untold
What splendour would my vision descry

All traces drawn, now forged and outlined
By moonbeams' gleam, in each flair love shined
From glimm'ring seas, to verderous trees
Saintly masterpiece 'pon Earth enshrined

Work of art, forever to protect
Precious montage, crafted in cathect
Father smiled, on sacred child

Wonderous use of language here, had me reaching for the old dictionary. I'm at a loss to pinpoint what exactly it was that the luminescent architect was creating "'pon Earth enshrined" but I'll re-read it over and over again 'till I find out . . .

"Divine highlights, 'neath aura ignite
Diffraction paints a prismatic hue"

One beautiful image portrayed from many original, inspiring perspectives, combined to convey something . . . so . . . ethereal?

Hmn. I'll take a stab at 'life itself' . . .? Seems to fit in my perception . . .
Again, splendorous work . . .

I hate you. And if you keep this up I'm going to start loving my dictionary. Just when I think you can get no better you make the impossible even more so. You and Neptunes first are moving beyond using merely difficult words to the point of making this a vocabulary lesson. I practically feel left behind because I don't have a vocabulary the size of a planet like you two.

So good it's not funny.

"A liar's smile makes great protection; in fulsome curls of genuflection."
~The Palatine Poet

...holy crap. That's some pretty incredible (to put it the least) use of language and imagery. Like all the others, I need my dictionary for this.

Fortunately, I didn't need a dictionary, as I was instantly pulled into the poem like a paper clip to a massive magnet. What I did need was a pillow, be it to scream into it in rage at the level you went to in this that I'll never be able to achieve, or to pass out cold on from being entirely overwhelmed. I think I hate you. Yeah. This was the most reaction-wrenching poem I've ever read. I mean it.

And reading over it three more times... the rhyming scheme is amazing, and the entire thing is complex beyond all reason. This, my friend, is the epitome of amazing.

Keep writing or I kill you,
-Eve.

Ps- I don't hate you. But I want to!

I'm unsure whether to hate you, scream, and try to rip out your hair; or adore you, scream, and try to get your autograph.

Decisions, decisions . . .

But anyway, WOW. Color me impressed, Dan! I'd waste twenty minutes describing it but I'm terribly afraid I don't feel like it :-P. It would deserve every minute I spent on it, though, and since I'm THINKING it really hard and it's the thought that counts, it comes out to the same thing, right?

My compliments, Dan.

w/ affection and CEGHs,
Nora

VS this was splendid.......the last two lines did it all for me.
Father smiiled, on scared child
Portrait cast by Heaven's Architect!
Even without all the rest of the great worded write..........with just these two in sight
it would be sufficent for me!
Wondrous
love,
consue

Of course, now my previous comments show how I'd read and commented on this half asleep . . . lol. Another read under the moonlight, brings the rune to life, like etched lines unto the Mines of Moria . . .

And yes, whilst describing a different vision to its eclipse, you have raised the bar here with something more expressive, detailed and effulgent, in my opinion. And of course, the part I picked out previous, stands out even further in its vivacity.
Again, I'm deeply impressed, and will continue to study this in order to fully appreciate it.
