cut deep on my heart
the scars that bleed every day
i see your scars
healed for a short time
and it's so beautiful
let them heal another day
i can't stop this pain
this hurt that never ends
i never wanted this for myself
i don't want this for my friend
i would take it all away from you
if i had that chance
because i know what it's like
to have a burden
i want to escape my past
every night that i cry
i cry for you too
because i know what it's like
to never know whats gonna happen
when distractions are through
the sun keeps on rising
and the moon glows at night
do everything you can
never give up your fight
remember i am your friend
and hope there is hope in this world
i'm always here for you
