The Phantom [bodytext] => Lost in a world of unwanted pain, crying my eyes out in the mist of acid rain,
Dying inside, suffering through a world that's so unkind,
Looking for the past, all the while losing sight of the future,
Living in the present, watching our world being destroyed by human nature,

The night falls, and death begains to call,
Fear of God, telling myself his just a fraud,
Buried alive, setting my mind on suicide,
What must you do to find someone to love you,

Here sits a broken man, heart wounded, just staring at my hands,
Once again love is gone, and all the radios are playing our song,
Tears begain to burn my face leaving only scars to replace,
Memories, and pain, become one in the same,

I sort through my mind, it's like a black hole, I'm running out of time,
I don't think I can take anymore, and so I reach for the pistol in my draw,
I put it to my head, maybe the pain will end if I'm dead,
I pulled the trigger, damn it's empty go figure,

My hands begain to shake, there's no healing this heartbreak,
I stare out the window cursing the moon,
Praying for sunlight to enlighten this room,
Lord if you hear me I pray you come, this maybe the end of The Phantom.

Forever Faithful
The Phantom

Great poetry of a great mind,
even it's so hard to find true love,
it's even harder for it to stay together,
don't give up yet,
you might not know what await you around the next corner of life,
if it be death, or a new life
