TEARS SLOWLY FALL TO MY PILLOW
EACH TIME A THOUGHT OF YOU CROSSES MY MIND
YOU WERE MY MOTHER AND MY VERY BEST FRIEND
I'LL NEVER KNOW ANYONE LIKE YOU AGAIN
A LOVE LIKE NO OTHER
I'M GLAD YOU WERE MY MOTHER
AND I KNOW YOU ALWAYS TRIED YOUR BEST
HAVING YOUR OWN LIFE
FORGET THE REST
THERE WERE BAD TIMES BUT MANY GOOD
NO ONE MADE ME SMILE THE WAY YOU COULD
MY HEART YEARNS FOR YOUR TOUCH JUST ONCE MORE
FOR YOU TO JUST WALK THROUGH THE DOOR
I KNOW I WASN'T THE PERFECT CHILD
NOR YOU THE PERFECT MOTHER
BUT OUR RELATIONSHIP WAS STILL LIKE NO OTHER
THE LOVE I HAVE FOR YOU STILL REMAINS STRONG
LOVING WHETHER RIGHT OR WRONG
ALWAYS I COULD COUNT ON YOU TO BE THERE
WHEN I DID SOMETHING YOU ALWAYS CARED
NOW IT'S YOUR SPIRIT I REMEMBER THE MOST
THROUGH EVERYTHING WE REMAINED CLOSE
YOU WERE THE ONE WHO KNEW ME LIKE A BOOK
TRYING O SO HARD TO TEACH ME TO COOK
HELPING ME OUT OF ANY PROBLEM I HAD
LOVING ME UNCONDITIONALLY WHEN I MESSED UP BAD
MAKING THE SAME MISTAKES TIME AND TIME AGAIN
STILL REMAINING BY MY SIDE LIKE A TRUE FRIEND
LAUGHIND ABOUT ALL OF THE THINGS THAT WENT DOWN
YOU ARE A QUEEN
DESERVING OF A CROWN
I'D GIVE ANYTHING TO SEE YOU AGAIN
