what is under my heart
you went far away
tore our lives a part,

I look at our photos
of when we were one
but our lives were over
before we have begun,

You never once asked
if i was okay or alright
you don't even know
just went off in the night,

Not a letter or word
not a call on the phone
what am i to do now
soon a mom all alone?

Someone else to you
means more than me
could i still love you?
am i your memory?

You will never know
what is under my heart
you just went far away
tore three lives a part.

I can feel your pain and tell you have a broken heart. Life can be difficult for a greater portion of the time we live on this earth. just use what ever strength you have to make a good life for you and your child. Try not to let this keep you from loving another man because there is someone out there that will love you and your child for who you both are. Very strong poem and written very beautiful. keep on writing, open your feelings and let your hurt flow away.
